Who’s behind solar scrub?
I’m Ed, the owner of Solar Scrub, and I have around 6 years of hands-on experience installing solar PV systems on domestic and commercial projects.
My background is on the roofing and mechanical side of solar installation, working on tiled, slate and flat roofs, as well as larger commercial arrays, ground-mounted systems and solar carports.
That experience means I understand how panels, mounting rails, roof hooks and roof coverings are installed — and how to work safely around them without causing unnecessary damage.
6 Years of Solar PV Experience
Solar Scrub was created after seeing first-hand how quickly solar arrays can become affected by dirt, bird fouling, moss and pigeons nesting beneath the panels.
Our specialist knowledge of solar installations means your system is being cleaned or bird-proofed by someone who understands how it was installed in the first place.
